Jennie is a safeguarding officer at a Sandwell primary school.
She works to support children and families and we’re told she goes above and beyond to help families make improvements in their lives.
Every year she organises a toy appeal and delivers gifts to children at Christmas.
During the Covid-19 restrictions, Jen delivered medicines, shopping, food vouchers to the families she supports.
She is also a massively valued volunteer for the local talking newspaper Sandwell Talking News run in partnership with Sandwell Visually Impaired. Her dad also volunteers and together they read news articles so people with visual impairments can access them. Find out more about the amazing Sandwell Talking News team.
And she’s involved with local beaver, cubs and scouts helping to enrich and develop young lives.
