You’ll find many admirable qualities embodied in Marcus Galli, a 14-year-old from Old Hill – not least a commitment to hard work and dedication to all his school subjects.
At Ormiston Forge Academy Marcus consistently applies himself to sport, displaying the school values of ‘resilience, aspiration and respect’ on a daily basis.
Marcus has made a big contribution to the school’s physical education leadership programme, becoming its youngest PE Ambassador at the start of the year.
And now he has been recognised by the school for his own leadership, teamwork and responsibility, across all physical education lessons.
Marcus helps his fellow students in their development through coaching, assisting and assessing them in lessons.
Marcus has also immersed himself in the school’s whole school enrichment programme, having led his own futsal (football played on a small pitch) club league at lunchtimes.
He is also in the West Midlands Junior Darts Academy.
Marcus carried the Baton in Cradley Heath. Find out more about our incredible day when the Queen’s Baton Relay came to Sandwell!
