Kally Sidhu, who volunteers at Sandwell Advocacy, is also volunteering at this summer’s Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
She will be part of the workforce team based at Alexander Stadium.
Kally said: “I was really excited when the location was announced for the Commonwealth Games. My love for sport is huge and I love volunteering so I just knew I had to submit an application. I had my interview in September and found out in February that I was successful and will be part of the Collective. I know my role will be important to help keep the Games running smoothly.
“Being from Sandwell and working in Birmingham, I am proud and passionate to be part of history and represent at the Games for so many reasons – to give back and be part of something special.
“I’m excited for the uniform but also to see the many spectators nationally and internationally who will unite together and enjoy the many sporting events going on. I really hope it leaves a legacy for sport and culture to inspire generations to come.”
