Dominic Bryan-James from Oldbury works at Jaguar Land Rover as a Union Rep.
Inspired by the loss of his colleague Michael Taylor, Dominic was a key part of establishing the Engagement Hub, an area created to support people with mental health issues in the workplace.
It’s a safe space where people and groups can reflect and engage with others without fear of judgement. It was such a big help to colleagues, it is now being rolled out across the Solihull site and hopefully wider.
Dominic said: “The highlight for me was hosting Michael’s family at the site. We invited them to come and see the area created in his memory. It was great to tell them how their son was the inspiration behind it and that he was continuing to inspire and help others, something his character was all about”.
Well done Dominic, we’re sure your colleagues, family, as well as Michael’s family, were proud to see you carrying the baton through Cradley Heath.
