Sahdaish Pall – domestic abuse campaigner and Batonbearer

Sahdaish Pall is from Tipton and has worked in domestic abuse services for 26 years.

Sahdaish made it her mission to get herself educated after she married at the age of 21 and returned to college after having her first child. She started studying counselling and took up volunteering in a women’s refuge in Birmingham.

Her passion for ending abuse helped her to launch a new award-winning company and innovative interactive board games which teach children and young people about healthy relationships and abuse. Her games have reached more than 4,000 children!

During lockdown in 2021, Sahdaish also wrote a healthy relationship workbook for young children which has reached thousands of children giving them advice on challenging negative behaviours and instilling self-belief and confidence.

Sahdaish has kindly donated hundreds of workbooks to children living in refuges.

She says: “I’m so excited about participating in such an important event. One day I hope to tell my grandchildren that I carried the Queen’s Baton and hopefully inspire the next generation. It’s an amazing opportunity and I thank my colleague who nominated me.”

Thank you Sahdaish for all your commitment and dedication in educating and helping others. Sahdaish carried the Baton in Tipton.
