Rianne Collier – prom nail hero

Rianne Collier from Oldbury helped more than 30 young people from families struggling with the cost of living to enjoy their school prom celebrations.

Rianne, who runs an independent beauty supply store, is a nail artist who created more than 30 sets of prom nails – completely free of charge.

She was nominated by one family whose daughter got a free set of glam nails to show off at her prom.

They said: “Rianne helped out local schools and charities this prom season for students in need of some glam nails.

“We were one of the families she helped whilst in need. She is the owner of a local independent beauty suppliers in Oldbury, it is an amazing atmosphere and so pretty in pink, my daughter loves it.”

Rianne said: “I offered a free press on nail service for those families who are facing difficult times financially as I believe that every child should have the full prom experience down to even the little things.

“Some students even had pictures of their pets on their nails.”

Rianne, who owns Ri’Glam beauty supplies in Bleakhouse Road, also won the 2021 Social Media Hair and Beauty Awards Best Nail Brand of the Year.
