We’re so proud of 12-year-old Rowley Regis schoolboy Freddie, whose campaign on mental health has received the royal seal of approval from Prince William.
Freddie invited The Prince of Wales to attend the launch of St Michael’s C of E High School’s campaign, ‘Am I Manly Enough?’, which aims to tackle gender-based stigma around mental health.
Although the Prince was unable to attend, he responded on Twitter, asking Freddie to ‘keep up this important work.’ Kensington Palace has since sent a letter, commending Freddie’s efforts and passion for mental health.
Freddie said: “This campaign is something that I think is so important. I’m just really grateful that it got a response from somebody that famous.”
Well done Freddie for putting Sandwell on the map!
